Taste of
Christmas “hygge”

Glögg is a warming Scandinavian celebration of festive spices and delivers the comforting taste of Christmas in December.

Samuel Johnson, author of the first English dictionary once said “Sir, claret is the liquor for boys; port, for men; but he who aspires to be a hero must drink brandy.” So by that definition, Scandinavian glögg is for all.  Served hot, often with a shot of rum or brandy and garnished with raisins and almonds it is perfect for warming the body and soul during the winter and bringing that unique feeling of “happiness” we all cherish.

Blending a unique recipe of spices together, with over 100 years of know-how,  Einar Willumsen develops glögg for more customers than anyone else, capturing Nordic “Hygge” at Christmas time.  The recipes remain highly guarded secrets, but can include finely tuned blends of red wine, sugar, spices such as cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, cloves, and bitter orange in addition to carefully selected Nordic botanical extracts all expertly manufactured at our factories in Sweden and Denmark.
